What better way to start the new year than by witnessing the sunrise over the NYC skyline and capturing the first light of the day from New Jersey?

Join us as we explore the stunning views along the Hudson River, from Weehawken down to Liberty State Park, and photograph the breathtaking skyline as it awakens in the early morning light.

We will practice long exposures and work on crafting unique compositions.

Join me in Central Park as we create Luminescent Portraits. This hands-on workshop is designed to help you master the art of light painting. You’ll gain practical experience with light painting tools, learning how to control and create patterns of light for stunning, one-of-a-kind portraits.

We’ll cover key techniques such as balancing ambient light with light tools for proper exposures, and composition to help you craft dynamic and unique images. With a model on-site and a variety of lighting conditions, you'll get to practice in real-world scenarios, experimenting with different setups to see what works best.

By the end of the session, you'll walk away with new skills and a deeper understanding of how to incorporate light painting into your portrait work. Plus, you'll have a blast creating beautiful and imaginative portraits along the way!

Let’s discover the incredible architecture the World Trade Center featuring the Oculus, 9/11 Memorial and Fulton Station. The World Trade Center is one of of lower Manhattan's must-see landmarks and we will be photographing both interior and exteriors. We will start outside exploring the grounds of the World Trade Center and enjoy the last bit of sunlight as it creates shadows on the street and cascades around the oculus.

Then we will head inside and we will focus on the artistic principles of compositions with symmetry, framing and balance. We will encourage you to try shooting in black and white to get creative with abstract closeups of the architecture.  This adventure will have you seeing architecture photography in a new way.
